Meet the Yuni Team
Daniel Glass is an doctoral student at Suffolk University's clinical psychology Ph.D. program. He has been researching, teaching, and publishing in the field of psychology -- especially on emotions and anxiety disorders -- for a number of years. He is also a dedicated music-lover and a blues/rock/jazz/funk/etc. bassist.
Several people close to Dan have unilateral hearing loss, and as a result, he decided to develop the Yuni so they could experience their favorite music in the same way that many others enjoy. It was his experience learning about the psychology of the auditory system that gave Dan the idea for developing the Yuni.

Elazar Nudell is a business and computer consultant with experience in social media and new venture creation. He holds a BA in Psychology from Kean University and has completed graduate coursework in organizational psychology and professional development courses in entrepreneurship. Elazar is also an amateur musician focusing on non-orchestral strings and group vocal performance. Elazar has extensive exposure to the assistive technology industry as well.
[carrythewhat?] replications consists of Chris Caswell, Cyndi Laird, and an apartment full of 3D printers. They specialize in small scale manufacturing of open source hardware, and have been in operation since the summer of 2011. Their products are sold both online and in person around the Boston area. Recently, their capabilities have also expanded to include prototyping. Chris and Cyndi received their Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Biology, respectively. They graduated from the New College of Florida before relocating to Boston and then Virginia. An interest in additive manufacturing eventually turned into a passion for open source hardware; gradually [carrythewhat?] replications has expanded into a full-time operation.
